I have opened a ticket at http://xmlroff.org/ticket/24 (which
unfortunately you won't be able to comment on without a login) about
making xmlroff default to using the "compatibility stylesheet".
At present, you have to use the --compat switch, but it has belatedly
occurred to me that most of the rest of the world is probably more
interested in having their documents format that in seeing where
xmlroff would fall over if it weren't for the compatibility
stylesheet.
If implemented, I'd have to add a --nocompat switch so I can see
xmlroff fall over when testing.
What do you think?
Regards,
Tony.
